HOW TO USE BAKHOOR

  • Bakhoor can be burnt on all types of burners; electric and non-electric.
  • When placing bakhoor on a burner, make sure to break it into smaller pieces as larger pieces tend to carbonize before the essential oils are fully released.

HOW TO BURN BAKHOOR USING AN ELECTRIC BURNER

YOU WOULD NEED:
  • An electric burner
  • An incense
  • A power supply
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Remove the burner from the box.
  2. Plug in the burner.
  3. Place the bakhoor onto the heating plate using a tong. When using bakhoor, make sure to break it into small pieces as larger pieces tend to carbonize before the essential oil has been fully released.
  4. Turn on the burner by pressing the main switch once plugged in. A red light should turn on.
  5. Allow the burner to run for 10 minutes.
  6. Manually turn it off after 10 minutes to avoid overheating.
  7. Once a piece of bakhoor has burnt completely, replace it with a new one using a tong.
PRECAUTIONS:
  • Allow it to cool completely before touching it.
  • Do not touch the plate while in use.
  • Do not leave the burner unattended.
  • Unplug the burner when not in use.
  • The burner is intended for aromatic use only.
  • Do not use next to flammable materials.
  • Check the right power supply before use and avoid overload.
  • Use on a dry and flat surface.
  • Do not allow to tip it over
  • Keep out of reach of children

HOW TO BURN BAKHOOR USING A NON-ELECTRIC BURNER

YOU WOULD NEED:
  • A non-electric burner
  • An incense
  • Charcoal Tablet
  • Matches or jet flame lighter
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Take a piece of charcoal tablet and light it for one to two minutes. You can use a jet flame lighter to light it up on the burner itself or hold it over the flame of a gas stove using a tong.
  2. Once you see the charcoal starting to burn from the edges, use a tong to place it on the silver plate of the burner.
  3. When you see a white ash forming on top of the charcoal tablet, place your bakhoor on it. (Hint: You can light the charcoal on a flame and then blow over it to make it burn quickly)

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR INCENSE BURNER

After all the incense material is burned, a residue will be left on the plate. To clean, wait for the plate to be cooled completely. Wipe off the cooled plate with a semi-dry washcloth to clean the residue.

HINT: To keep the plate clean, you can place a piece of aluminum foil over it before placing the charcoal and incense material.

HOW TO USE A NON ELECTRIC BURNER

YOU WOULD NEED:
  • A non-electric burner
  • An incense
  • Charcoal Tablet

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR INCENSE BURNER

HOW TO APPLY ATTAR

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. For best results, take a small drop of attar and apply it to the inside of each wrist.
  2. Dab a little behind the earlobes, jawline and hair tips with the inside of your wrists before it dries.
  3. You may also apply to the back of each knee, inside of elbow joints and back of your neck to enhance the experience.
  4. A small drop is enough. Don't be tempted to apply more oil quickly, but instead, wait for a short time. Attar gets stronger when it gets warmed up by your skin temperature.
  5. The attar will dry down in a few minutes after which you will experience its fragrance.
PRECAUTIONS:

  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • In case of a skin rash or itching, discontinue use and wash thoroughly with water. Get medical advice if irritation persists.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Dark attars can stain clothes.

HOW TO APPLY PERFUME

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. For optimum results, spray or dab the perfume onto your pulse points (inside of your wrists, inner elbows, below your belly button, and behind your ear lobes and knees). These warm spots on your body emit extra body heat, which helps to naturally diffuse a scent.
  2. To make your scent last, don’t rub perfume into your skin. Let it slowly mix with your skin’s natural oils.
  3. Apply a little perfume to your clothing to keep your scent going all day long.
  4. You can also spray your perfume in front of you and then walk right into it for it leave layer of fragrance on your clothes.

HINT: Store your perfume in a cool, dark, dry place.
